The Country Guest House is a recently renovated farmhouse that was originally built in 1776. This 3 bedroom (each with queen size bed) and 1.5 baths house is ideal for a family or group of friends who want to relax in the country away from all the hustle and bustle.  The Country Guest House provides a full kitchen where you will be able to create all your culinary delights.  You can watch your favorite movie on the VCR/DVD player located in the living room or curl up with a book in the sitting room. Enjoy your evening outside with a fire in the fire pit. Wood is provided. Or you can enjoy activities in the 1.5 acre yard with remnants of an old farm orchard. The house has the original and still working hand pump well in its back yard (which you will not have to use to get your water) and is nestled on a ridge in the Laurel Highlands in Somerset County. The Laurel Highlands is a great place to enjoy all the seasons.  We are conveniently located near Seven Springs, Hidden valley ski resorts, The Great Allegheny Passage, four state parks and many other activities in Somerset, Fayette or Westmoreland counties.  The house will accommodate 10 people, including well-behaved children. Unfortunately pets are not welcome. No smoking in the house.  We accept weekend, weekly or daily rentals during the week only.
